There is an air of tranquility that surrounds this tea house. One can hear the water trickling into the stone basin in the garden.

So you see the miniature tea house on the far left of the room? A biwa lays idol against the wall, the Geisha plays on it regularly in the evenings as part of her relaxation. In the background through the rounded window one can see the pond with the Koi fishes.

The Geisha has just watered the bonsai plant. She has taken a long few hours applying her make up to her face and combing her hair up so neatly.

The young toddler has learnt to make a tiny crane with origami paper. She is holding it in her hand.

Three porcelain plates adorn the upper shelf of the wall unit. The plates detail paintings of a variety of the Geisha ladies in different poses.

A healthy plant decorates the shelf. The ambiance of the lamp lends to the serenity of the atmosphere.

A plate of assorted sushi, cups filled with tea and sake in tiny cups have been arranged by the Geisha for their dinner.

It is customary to leave one's shoes outside before entering the teahouse.

These small sized geta shoes were handmade with very fine straw.

It is feeding time for the Koi fish, the cranes are at bay watching from a distance. Water trickles into the stone container sandwiched in amongst the plants in the garden.

A little curved bridge leads to another garden with a drinking catchment. The colorful Koi fish swim from under the water lilies to the rock on the other end of the pond.

Pale yellow water lilies and purple irises float at the edge of the pond. The Koi fish have gathered around the edge of the pond awaiting the special food fed to them by the gardener.

Embedded in the side of the landscape is a fountain made of stone, water trickles from the bamboo spout to the serenity of its surroundings.
